Why skills come first
A tool is only as good as the person using it. AI is the most powerful tool we've ever had — so the person matters more, not less.
Think of a navigation app. It is fast, it is patient, and it is right almost every time. Because it is right so often, we stop checking it.
Then one day it makes a mistake. It sends you down a road that has been closed for months — and it says this in the same calm, confident voice it uses when it is right. A new driver follows it. A driver who knows the city does not: they know the road, and catch the mistake early.
AI works the same way. It is a powerful helper, and most of the time it is right. But it cannot tell you when it is wrong — only a skilled person can. Give the tool to people who know their work, and it makes them faster and better. Give it to people who cannot check it, and it spreads their mistakes just as fast.
